Mary Beth Haugen, MS, RHIA, is founder and CEO of The Haugen Consulting Group and Haugen Academy, based in Denver, Colorado. She has over 25 years of experience in Health Information Management. Prior to launching Haugen Consulting Group, Mary Beth held leadership roles in Information Services and HIM in a variety of healthcare settings.
Mary Beth has served on the Board of Directors for the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the AHIMA Foundation and is currently a member of the Council on Education and Excellence (CEE) and Regis University Advisory Board. Mary Beth earned her bachelor’s degree in Medical Records Administration from St Louis University and received her master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Mary Beth is the proud recipient of the 2017 AHIMA Triumph Award for Leadership. Haugen Consulting Group is also the proud recipient of the 2015 Colorado HIMA President’s Award and a 2015 Colorado Company to Watch.

Stacie has 25 years experience in the health care industry. During her career she served as an internal auditor and corporate compliance officer for one of the nation’s largest providers of diagnostic imaging services. Additionally she served as Vice President and Consultant for a radiology consulting firm and radiology billing company. Stacie has served in a consulting capacity for 13 years and she is a nationally sought out speaker who has presented well over 200 webinars and seminars. She has also authored articles on radiology coding and reimbursement topics for AAPC Healthcare Business Monthly, Journal of AHIMA and the Radiology Management: The Journal of AHRA. Stacie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management and prior earned an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. Ann began her journey in the healthcare and coding environment in her study of Health Policy and Administration as a student at The Pennsylvania State University. She was a member of the Phi Gamma Nu business fraternity, and remains active in the fraternity today. Ann used her Bachelor of Science degree to drive a career in medical coding and billing, and eventually involvement in recruiting, training and management of medical coding teams. Ann has been an active member of the AAPC since 2005, when she became a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). She’s also earned her Certified Risk Coder (CRC) certification through the AAPC. She enjoys traveling to speak at local AAPC chapter meetings, meeting coders, and talking to people about how they use their coding certifications. Ann’s desire to help coders to career success was the driving force behind the creation of Project Resume, and that desire grows with every success story!
