The most important #finishlinefriday I’ve had. I trained for most of the year to complete this #dopeychallenge2020 , starting in the pool after surgery, slowly transitioning to run/walking. Even then, training wasn’t easy. Watching Jake go climbing when I had a long run, staying in when I had to wake up early for miles, when I got to the marathon start, I was so nervous I hadn’t done enough. When we started, I told myself I would drag myself across the finish line before I quit. Mile after mile came and went, until I got to the finish. I never thought I would call myself a marathoner, or a Dopey challenger, but here I am. If I can do it, with my poopy back, you guys can too! And as always thank you so much for your cheers, I really couldn’t have done it without you guys! #wdwmarathon #dopeychallenge2020 #disneyworld
